DENORA- Root Canal Repair Material

DENORA-MTA root canal repair material is a powder consisting of fine, hydrophilic particles that set in the presence of moisture. Hydration of the powder creates a colloidal gel that solidifies to form a strong impermeable barrier that seals off pathways between the root canal system and surrounding tissues, significantly reducing bacterial migration. The excellent biocompatibility of DENORA-MTA allows for a predictable clinical healing response. Also, water-based chemistry of DENORA-MTA permits normal setting in the presence of moisture.

Features:

  • Setting time 120 min
  • High radiopacity
  • Excellent biocompatibility
  • Increased compressive strength
  • Enhancing formation of mineralized tissues
  • Inducing neoformation of periarticular cementum

Indications:

  • A root-end filling material;
  • For the repair of root canals as an apical plug during apexification;
  • For repair of root perforations during root canal therapy;
  • As a pulp capping material;
  • Pulpotomy of primary teeth in the child (ages >2-12 years) and adolescent (ages >12-21 years) pediatric patient populations.
